KISS KASS

$30.00

Made from Elephant Grass. You can't get anymore interesting than that. Plus they sound so nice. Maybe your Kiss Kass smoked some of that Elephant Grass before being made. Either way, they’ll make you dance.

Availability: 4 in stock

DETAILS

Hand woven in the Bolgatanga region of Northern Ghana from elephant reed harvested from rich flood plains. Using the same technique as the famous Bolga baskets, these hand percussion instruments are traditionally played along side drummers and were thought to ward off evil spirits.

Traditionally named Caxixi (ca-she-she), they are usually played in pairs.

Please note that as these are handmade no two Kiss Kass shakers are identical. Pictures are provided for reference; colours vary

A great percussion instrument for the little aspiring musician or makes a lovely decor piece in the home.

Medium: 7cm x 7cm x 15cm
